Bloody brilliant BBQ

We just received the final menu for the Reuben's BBQ on Friday night. Now we are really beyond excited...


Here is a teaser...


For the carnivores:
cape malay, marinated Merweville lamb leg sosaties, dried fruits
rudis pork braai wors, camembert, organic dried cranberries and rocket
bbq chicken wings
sticky spare ribs
thai marinated chalmar sirloin
traditional skilpadjies


On the side:
kachumber tomato, cucumber red onion, mint, coriander, salad
potato salad, boiled egg, sweet mustard dressing
pasta salad baby marrow &mint
red &green cabbage salad, onion, garlic, chilli, cumin, coriander
traditional rice salad
slap hakskeentjies


sweet dreams:
traditional cape brandy pudding with custard & fresh fruits

  2. This BBQ menu sounds absolutely mouth-watering! I can already imagine how delicious all these dishes will be, especially the Merweville lamb leg sosaties and those sticky spare ribs. The variety of sides like the potato salad and the red & green cabbage salad also really complement the meat options. And the traditional Cape brandy pudding for dessert – what a perfect ending!

    It’s kind of funny though, I’m already getting hungry just thinking about all this while I’m also trying to wrap up my last minute assignment. It’s definitely hard to stay focused with such amazing food on the mind, but I guess that's part of the challenge, right? Time to get back to work and hopefully, I'll make it to the BBQ after finishing everything!
